Examples of the types of private lessons I provide are outlined below. All services will be available for individuals of all ages and levels. In addition, I travel to provide private lessons at the student's residence. Studio lessons are available upon request, but please note that the price will be higher due to rental costs.
Intro to Acting
Introductory students will discover the fundamentals of live performance and develop their acting skills for the stage. This includes an introduction to working with monologues, playing various characters, expressing different emotions, using vocal variety, memorizing lines, auditioning techniques, and much more. If you prefer a more interactive environment to master these skills, consider joining my class at Revelations Dance Center.
Audition Preparation
Actors looking for guidance in selecting and preparing their material for an upcoming audition can benefit from these private lessons. These sessions are specifically designed for those auditioning for live theater productions, acting troupes, and college programs. More specifically, I offer coaching in monologue preperation and acting-through-song. Although I am unable to teach vocal technique, I work with a list music teachers and coaches and may be able to offer referrals. Please note that I do not currently provide assistance with audition techniques for film and television (yet).
Performance Preparation
I provide performance preparation services to help you refine your material for an upcoming show. My coaching includes acting techniques, scene work, and character development. As stated above, I cannot provide vocal technique instruction, but I collaborate with various music teachers and coaches and can offer referrals.
